Would you like to spend a few hours with an experienced gardener in her vegetable garden?
From instructor Sarah Bennett: “I have forty years gardening experience, ten years as a County Extension Agent in horticulture and a degree in Plant Science. I am NOT an immaculate Better Homes & Garden type gardener, with manicured lawns and perfect shrubs. I DO have a deep understanding of the requirements of plants and a passion for growing food organically.”
(This is NOT a workshop on landscaping and lawn maintenance – it IS a hands-on workshop on growing food.)
The 3 hour workshop is limited to 5 people. Be prepared to get your hands dirty, and maybe your knees. Will take place at Sarah’s personal garden in Lynn.
