Brickyard Podcast #1? (Maybe?)

Well, here’s what can be loosely called a podcast (maybe)?  Carl Carlsen, a retired English Professor who taught at North Shore Community College for years, and wrote “Brickyard Stories”  published by the College to accompany the opening of its permanent campus in Lynn in 1985, is working on a project to complete his Brickyard storytelling.  He’s very interested in personal stories about the area, and somehow heard about us.  He was curious how we latched on to the name, and what our connection with the neighborhood was…

Here’s the first installment, talking about our very early efforts, a little history, how our mission fits with the legacy of the Brickyard neighborhood, and a little more.  Oh, yeah, and a nod to Pete Capano, a longtime supporter, and a lifetime resident of the Brickyard!

There might even be more…  stay tuned!
